The Internal Audit Unit Charter (SPI Charter) is a formal document containing the leadership's commitment in the form of recognition of the existence and functioning of the Internal Audit Unit in an organization or legal entity . The Charter of the Internal Supervision Unit of the Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta (SPI UIN Jakarta) includes the vision, mission, position, duties, functions and scope as well as approval and ratification from the Chancellor of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta through a Chancellor's Decree.

The SPI Charter of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah is the basis for the existence and implementation of supervision which will then be socialized for the entire academic community of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and other related parties to achieve mutual understanding and cooperation. which is good in realizing the vision, mission and goals of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
