SPI Head's Foreword

There is an unwritten rule in companies/institutions/institutions throughout the world that if they want to "PROGRESS" then their Internal Supervisory Unit (SPI) / Internal Audit must be strong. Why does SPI have to be strong? because if SPI functions according to its role and function, the company/institution/institution can prevent company financial losses and protect company assets from acts of corruption, negligence, justified wrong habits, fraud and waste.

Changes in the internal and external environment in government organizations, including changes in statutory regulations, greatly influence the implementation of operational activities and influence the achievement of predetermined goals and targets. This change has the consequence of the need for a strong internal control system to ensure that the desired process and activity results are achieved. So Internal Control is a good tool to assist management in assessing company operations in order to achieve business goals.

SPI UIN Syarif Hidayatullah is present as a supervisory organ in accordance with the mandate of Laws and Government Regulations to carry out an integral process of actions and activities carried out continuously by the leadership and all employees, at every level and Work Unit, to provide adequate confidence for achieving organizational goals through effective and efficient activities, reliability of financial reporting, safeguarding state assets, compliance with statutory provisions, and assisting the Chancellor and management to achieve their dream Vision and Mission.
